Pittsburgh Machine

16s Gauge

 
The 16's Pittsburgh rolls are fitted as standard to one side of the 7 stage machine with the option to fit 1 of 11 cnc machined roll sets to the outboard extension shafts.  Unlike most competitors machines, our 16's Pittsburgh roll set incorporates automatic material gauge compensation to ensure tight deffinition of the seam throughout the gauge range of 0.7 to 1.6mm.  This Pittsburgh tooling has a pocket size of 12.5mm and uses 33mm to form the seam.
 
A flanging attachment can also be added to the top of the machine giving the ability to form a 10mm flange on internal and external curved edges.  see final option below.
